Esta película encuentra a Angélique en un reino musulmán del norte de África, donde ahora forma parte del harén del sultán. La primera parte de la película consiste en ella, enojada, negándose a acostarse y en su intento literal de hacerle entrar en razón. Todo parece durar demasiado y me sorprendió que el sultán simplemente no ordenara que la mataran. Al final de la película, finalmente decide escapar con la ayuda de dos prisioneros cristianos.
